About me
I am a developmental psychologist with teaching interests in child development, adulthood and aging, and the psychology of gender. The central goal of my research program is to better understand how students' interactions with parents, teachers, and peers shape their school adjustment. Using retrospective self-reports, classroom- and laboratory-based observations, and daily diary measures, my most recent work has focused on uncovering the nature of students' interactions with significant others following everyday academic successes and failures and exploring the consequences of these interactions for students' achievement-related beliefs and behaviors.
